Privately owned on Highway 71 in Spicewood since 2009. Open 24 hours to members, coached six to six on weekdays, and built so a first-timer and a state champion can train in the same room without either one being in the other's way.
24/7
Member access, every day of the year. Staffed and coached 6 AM to 6 PM on weekdays.
$70
A month, month to month, with no contract. $60 a month on a one-year term.

2009
Founded by Shannon and Seneca Sarnella, and privately owned ever since.
That is the part a gym with our history has to say out loud. The biggest department in the building is the machine floor — 26 stations, every one with a seat, a pin and a diagram on the side. There are 11 cardio machines. Most of the room, most of the day, is people doing perfectly ordinary training.
Nobody is going to watch you. It is a private gym rather than a chain, so the floor stays quiet even at six. There is no class to keep up with and no screen ranking you against a stranger. And because members hold their own key, you can come at five in the morning or eleven at night, when the building is yours.
If you would rather not work it out alone, someone is on the floor from six to six on weekdays, and showing you how a machine works is not a personal training session. It is just what they are there for.

63 pieces across five departments, published item by item. The competition racks and calibrated plates a lifter needs, and the machines and cardio most members actually use. If it is not on the list, it is not in the building.
Racks, Bars & Platforms10 items listedCompetition specTwo combo racks and calibrated kilo plates mean a lift you make here is a lift you can make at a meet. Nothing is bolted shut; the platforms are open to every member.
Strongman Yard9 items listedRare outside a competition gymA full implement set, coached by a two-time Texas Strongest Man. You do not need to compete to train here — most people who pick up a stone never enter a contest.
Free Weights & Benches11 items listedDumbbells to 125 lbDumbbells start at 3 pounds and run to 125, so the same rack serves a first week and a fifteenth year. Eleven benches means you are not waiting on one.
Machine Floor26 items listed26 stationsThe largest department in the building. Every machine has a seat, a pin and a diagram — you can get a complete workout here without touching a barbell or asking anyone a question.
Cardio & Conditioning7 items listedEleven cardio stationsFive treadmills, two ellipticals, two rowers and two air bikes. Enough that walking in at 6 PM does not mean waiting for a machine.Every membership includes the whole floor. Coaching is what you add when you would rather someone else held the plan.
Compound lifts taught properly, then loaded over time. The base everything else is built on, whether you are chasing a number or just want to carry your own bags.
Anyone, at any starting point.
Squat, bench and deadlift, programmed toward a meet or toward a personal best. Trained on competition racks and calibrated kilo plates so the number is the real number.
Lifters with a target, from first meet to national platform.
Training and eating handled together rather than separately, built around what your week actually looks like. No fads and no meal plan you will abandon by Thursday.
People who want the weight to stay off.
Practical nutrition counselling alongside your training — what to eat, when, and how to keep it going on a normal schedule.
Members on any programme.
Off-season and in-season work built for the demands of your sport, including the speed, agility and jump testing to measure whether it is working.
School, club and collegiate athletes.
Acceleration, change of direction and vertical work, measured on the Vertec rather than guessed at.
Athletes and anyone who wants to move better.
Technique first, then conditioning, on the heavy bag and the pads. Coached by a former MMA fighter.
Beginners welcome; no sparring required.
Swings, cleans and carries taught as skills, using a rack that runs from 8 to 80 pounds.
Anyone wanting conditioning that is not a treadmill.
Training around an injury and back out the other side, in a monitored room rather than on your own. Coordinated with what your physio or surgeon has told you.
Members returning from injury or surgery.
